About Me

Hi, My name is Yifei Gao (高亦非) and you can call me Jason. I'm a software engineer, a designer, and a maker by heart.

I graduated from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University where I learned and created interactive experiences with emerging media and technologies. I previously studied at the University of Science and Technology Beijing where I received my bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Since 2017, I have collaborated with Shawn Wang in creating several WeChat mini-applications including the Natianyue. We aimed to solve daily problems from deciding lunch meals to arranging time for group activities.

I'm currently working as a STEAM educator, mentoring K-12 level students in the creative process of building with physical computing and digital fabrication.
